Who are Iwami Ginzan Volunteer Tour Guides?

Iwami Ginzan Volunteer Tour Guides are a group of local volunteer guides in Oda, Shimane.
We offer English-speaking tours for overseas guests who are visiting Iwami Ginzan.
English is a second language for us so our English may not be perfect but our warmth and enthusiasm is superb.

While Iwami Ginzan Volunteer Tour Guides make every effort to safeguard our guests and their belongings, Iwami Ginzan Volunteer Tour Guides cannot be held responsible or liable for delay, personal injury, death, damage, loss of property, additional expenses or inconvenience caused directly by any events while you are receiving our service.

Insurance

Insurance is not included.

How to book a guide

1）Apply via e-mail.
　　（We do not make reservations over the phone.）

The e-mail needs to contain

your name
your e-mail address
your home country
your phone number in your country or contact number in Japan.
your tour schedule
the number of people in your group
where you are staying in Oda (friend/family/hotel/day trip).

If you have some special requests or needs, let us know in the e-mail. 　Your e-mail needs to be sent at least 14 days in advance.

2）Within 7 days, we will send you an e-mail with your booking details.

3) You must contact us by e-mail or telephone to confirm your booking as soon as you get your booking details.

Please excuse us in cases where we cannot meet your requests.
